Colours and Contrast
Please note that colours may not ‘true’ when shown on a computer screen. The depiction of colour is usually reasonably good but is intended only as a general guide. The accuracy of the image colours when compared with the printed form will depend on the settings of your screen.
The images may appear on your screen with low contrast. The images on the website are low resolution and may not be fully representative of the true quality of the paintings, prints etc that we offer. The resolution of your screen can also have an effect on how you see the images.
Computer screens operate with transmitted light and prints are reflected light so to the human eye there will usually be a difference. One media type should not be considered inferior to the other, they are just different.
